Innocent Cafe – CLOSED

Innocent Coffee on UrbanspoonWhen we got to the cafe, there were no other customers. But the place is a cute 2-storey small cafe, where the 2nd floor is transformed into a little art gallery.
As I graphic designer, I was intrigued with their cute business cards and designs of collateral. When we asked who designed them, the brother and sister team (I originally thought they were couple-looking, but one reader had commented – as seen below, that they were siblings) said they did themselves. They weren’t overly friendly or sociable, but we got our drinks and muffin. I was happy to see some IKEA bookshelves and sofa’s. The theme seemed to be white and clean. I liked the first floor much more than the upstairs.

It’s an easy-to-miss cafe, worth trying out :)

Return Again

Went back recently and noticed that they got new furniture for the second level. It seemed more inviting. They left the door open on a cold rainy day, so I froze, but a film crew were shooting a film just outside the cafe and so people were going in and out of the cafe often. Service is ok, nothing friendly or joyful. I still do like their branding, and beautiful lattes. idearabbit-innocentcafe11
