Sheepie, his friend and I ended up at Inori. From outside, we could tell it was a bit on the higher-end. We decided to try it out. The decor was modern, and clean. The place looked quite new. The benches against the walls had nice pillow cushions to lean on.
I had the Organic Agedasi Tofu $4.95. This was the first time I’d ever seen an ‘organic’ one.
The Negitoro Roll $4.75 was cut diagonally, adding a new look to the usually mundane cylinder pieces. The Tamago nigiri had a wide nori (dried seaweed) belt, which made it a bit difficult (it should only be 1/4 inch or so. The Masago nigiri was fresh and full with popping sensation.
Sheepie and his friend both had the House Roll $8.95 had 5 large pieces of salmon, spicy tuna, prawn tempura all wrapped in cucumber. It looked beautiful, and different, though it did have some challenges in eating such a large piece.
Overall, nice setting, satisfactory service and good food though slightly on the pricier side.
