As you enter, you’re greeted by fish in the aquarium tank. The hostess greeted us. I can’t really comment on the hostess as we were a large group, and someone upfront was talking to her.

We had 8 people, but was easily accommodated by a one long table with plenty of room all around. It was at the end of the restaurant, so it was nice to have almost a privacy or distance from the rest of the crowd.

I ordered the Benga Chicken Curry $17.50 with garam masala, tomatoes, cream, cauliflower, almond coconut basmati rice and naan bread. Actually, I was going to order something else, but switched to this dish at the last moment, not carefully reading the ingredients…

When my food arrived, I was ashamed that I hadn’t read the menu carefully. Yes, the rice had almonds… I tried picking out the nuts, but there were too many. I asked one of the staff to tell her the situation. I was dumb in not being more careful. She offered to bring me just regular rice. Yes! Thank you! Though by then, everyone else had finished their food…

Aside from that, the food was very good. The curry was rich and flavourful. Service and atmosphere was very good. Would return again!
