Ro Sushi

Ro Sushi on UrbanspoonSo I recently drove by and noticed a new restaurant. Apparently, they had existed a block down but I never noticed it because it was your typical cheap sushi place that seemed like all the others. After looking up on it on Urbanspoon, I found out that it had moved and renovated, so I thought it would be good to check it out.

When Sheepie and I got there around 9pm, there was only one table occupied. The place seemed decent, but upon looking closer, I saw that the wall by our table was a bit dirty. The table and chairs were all worn out and comparing the old photos of the place, it seems like they just brought the old furniture with them.

The TV hanging by the sushi bar was a bit loud for Sheepie, especially since there weren’t really any customers. He asked the staff for it to be turned down, and she did without any hesitancy. She was quite friendly and happy and the other guy served us well.

I ordered the Negitoro Roll $2.95 and Salmon+Avocado Roll $3.50 which were satisfactory. I later ordered a miso soup $1.00 when Sheepie was hungry still for another roll.

Near the end of our dining, 4 staff started eating out in the dining area which accounted for half the people eating there. I saw one take out order, but the evening was quite quiet and slow for them, although I must say, it was late.

I thought the food, price and service was decent and would go back if I was in the area.
