Come meet the authors, enjoy cooking demonstrations, taste samples and get your cookbook signed. Not to mention attendees can enter into a draw for a $500 Bay gift card. And the best part – this is a free event!  Don’t miss your chance to participate in this unique opportunity to meet and learn from some of Canada’s best culinary writers!

I’ve been informed just today that Vikram Vij, co-author with Meeru Dhalwala of Vij’s Indian, will be making a guest appearance and doing a demonstration at the event as well!

Timbertrain Coffee Roasters

Timbertrain Coffee Roasters Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - ZomatoLocated in the trendy area of Gastown, the interior continues this nostalgic, vintage look. The booths are creatively designed so that the seats can be shared from both sides.

I ordered the Latte $4.50. It was super creamy and super flavourful. It was good as coffee in Europe, which is hard to find in Vancouver. Nicely done latte art too.

My friend who seemed to know a lot about coffee asked detailed questions about her coffee. The staff was very knowledgeable.

Must return again!
