We were greeted by a very cheerful and friendly hostess who guided us to our table. It was dim, pretty empty and cozy atmosphere. I was surprised to see a grand hotel using electric candles for all of their dining tables. It still looked nice though.
I ordered the Reuben $15 under the Bar menu. As soon as it arrived, I could smell the garlic fries. MMMmmmmm!! So delicious!!! Perhaps the best fries I’ve ever had. (unless you hate garlic). It had house-cured corned beef, apple cider, sauerkraut, and provolone between marbled rye. Very delicious and two thumbs up.
I was happy to read that Mosaic Grille uses locally sourced produce, sustainable seafood and choice ingredients with careful and creative preparation. Those choices are always a plus.
Sheepie ordered the Chocolate cake with poached pear $8 which was gluten free. I took a bite, and it was super light, creamy and melted smoothly like ice cream. It tasted like there were barely and sugar which was a huge plus for me, but sweet-toothed Sheepie didn’t agree. It was nicely accented with pear on the side.
Our server was friendly and the overall experience was very comfortable, relaxing and quiet.
Would definitely return again!
