I was interested in blog ads, and had signed up with Adbrite last year. At the time, I didn’t know that ads weren’t allowed on WordPress (where this blog originally used to be). When I transferred over to my own domain sometime in March 2013, I read that “On January 28, 2013, AdBrite sent an email to all of its publishers and advertisers stating that it would cease operations as of February 1, 2013 after a deal to sell the company fell through.”

Great…they took my contact info and everything with them…and I never got to use their service. I wonder what would have happened if I had less than $100 in my account? Since most places don’t pay out to you unless you reach $100 minimum. That would suck if you had $90 and they just took it…

Anyways, because of that, I applied to Google’s Adsense, only to be rejected. Why, I don’t know. Maybe because I had just transferred to my domain and there wasn’t any traffic yet.
