B & P Ice Cream

B&P Ice Cream Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - ZomatoWe were in Steveston with friends for nice laid back weekend. After dinner, we came upon B and P Ice Cream. I was shocked to see the price.

$1.50!? Really? I haven’t seen prices like those…well, can’t really recall a time when they were so cheap. (though there were ones in Europe…) It’s only for a single scoop, but being used to having charged $3-5, this was a delightful find. idearabbit_mary_icecream_steveston2 idearabbit_mary_icecream_steveston3 idearabbit_mary_icecream_steveston4idea-rabbit_mascot-joyThere’s a great selection of not just ice cream, but a whole lot of things, from smoothies, ice cream on sticks, bubble tea, and so on. The portion is pretty good too. We got the Espresso Flake. It was creamy and good.

Would love to return again!!

Note: This post was originally posted under Mary’s Ice Cream which was two doors down. Thanks to Sabrina Henry who notified me that it is in fact B & P Ice Cream. Sorry for any inconvenience or confusion it might have caused!

Chatime on Robson

Chatime Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - ZomatoI still remember when I was first invited to Chatime’s grand opening last summer on Broadway. Since then, Chatime has been the my bubble tea place to go. I also bring my friends, and they seem to like it too.

Since we were in the area, and one guy wanted some bubble tea after dinner, I led them over to the Chatime on Robson. Wow… again, another crazy line up. They are doing so well!

I can understand. The reason why I like Chatime is being able to customize the drinks – for me, the sugar levels are of importance. Their cafes are bright and modern, though they could use expanding the cafe to double the size since all the tables are always occupied, lol.

The service is quite slow, but with so many people, I guess it’s inevitable.

I love the simple use of Vicinity card. I got my free drink this time since I had gotten 10 drinks already. However, I’ve never had one ask if I had the card, so you’ll have to remind yourself to tap if you have one.

Ninja Bubble Tea

Click to add a blog post for Ninja Bubble Tea on ZomatoA cute place on Robson. After having a birthday dinner, a bunch of us were walking along Robson street and looking for some dessert when we saw this place.

We went in, and to my surprise, I saw a Rooibos bubble tea!? Really? I had to try. Compared to other bubble tea flavours, this one was quite subtle. The sweetness wasn’t overly too overwhelming – which was a good thing. My friend who is also into Rooibos teas took a sip, but wasn’t all that impressed.

They should definitely take the character from the logo and make plushies out of them :) (if they haven’t already)
