Bubble World in Richmond

Bubble World Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato A group of us had just played the Murder Mystery Game that’s popping up in Richmond (the one we went to was Freeing Canada) and we wanted to grab a bite afterwards, so we headed to Bubble World. It was quite full and busy, but we managed to get a 8 person table right away.

I had the Beef Noodle. It was decent size, but I find it to be drowning in the sauce. It wasn’t anything extraordinary – not something I would order or come back for.

Sheepie ordered the Three Sauce Chicken $7.95. Good price for the portion, but the veggies were cold, the chicken was boney – not the kinds that we like. Sheepie kept complaining it was garbage.   We both don’t really like oily, greasy meat dishes that are full of bones and fat. It’s just our preference. My Chinese friends love those pork knuckles…argh…no no for me.

Some of the other’s dishes, especially the hot pots looked quite impressive, though can’t really comment on the taste. The slush that some ordered were huge! Wow.

Return
A friend brought us back for a late afternoon ‘lunch’. We got a table right away, as the staff pointed to a table on the other side of the room.

idearabbit_bubble-world20 idearabbit_bubble-world21I ordered the Pork Dumplings $4.95. It didn’t come out nicely as it did in the photo from the menu, but still, it was plenty for a pretty inexpensive price. It was juicy, and the sauce and dumplings would have definitely gone well with some rice! Service was ok. The place was kept orderly and clean despite the busy atmosphere.
