A small-medium restaurant that seems like another average Japanese restaurant – that’s not run by Japanese. We happened to walk by one evening, so we decided to give it a try.

We ordered the Pork & Vegetable Gyoza $4.50 which lacked the garlic or nira (garlic chives) taste which is found in most Japanese gyozas. It was a bit weak of flavour.

The Negitoro roll $2.75 and Sockeye Avocado Roll $5.50 was average.

Sheepie ordered the Assorted Sushi Combo $8.95

Overall, it was what you’d expect from the inexpensive sushi restaurant. Several of the servers sat at the tables next to us and blabbed and ate their supposedly ‘dinners’. They shouted at times to each other when one was at the cashier right behind our table. That was annoying.

The washroom seemed to be a storage place of all things – I just hope not any food.

Would we go back? Hmmm…likely not.
