The restaurant was large and spacious with a nice atmosphere. There were families, large groups of friends and couples. Service was slow as no one had even gotten our waters after I returned from the bathroom, but our server was very friendly.

I ordered the Whiskey River® BBQ Chicken Wrap $11.99 – a tortilla with charbroiled chicken breast  in their signature Whiskey River® BBQ sauce, with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tortilla strips and ranch dressing. Served with 3 slices of oranges (might be different depending on supplies/location) and Bottomless Steak fries. It was really tasty and quite filling – I didn’t even get to finish the other half of the wrap, so I had it to go.

Sheepie had the Simply Grilled Beef Burger $9.20 which is a fresh, never frozen, 100% Alberta beef patty, served with leaf lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pickles & red onion along with Bottomless Steak Fries. The char-coiled beef taste was really good!

Overall, I liked the menu selection and the food quality. The restaurant was a bit cold for my liking, but that’s just me. Service again was slow when paying. One staff said that the other girl would come by with the credit machine, but she never came. After more waiting, the same staff came by and noticed that I was still waiting and got the machine herself. Despite the service delay, I would return again.
