We were on a rush, so we stopped by Yamato Sushi for take out. Not only that, I had never been fond of this restaurant (whenever I passed by), seeing how people were crammed into a closet sized room. Sheepie also was a bit claustrophobic, so it was good that we were only there to order. As I expected, the inside was super small. It was dirty and not well kept.

The menu was quite extensive. We ordered the Box Special A $7.25 which came with chicken terikyaki which were cheap fatty chicken meat – the poor quality kind. The gyoza were not Japanese gyoza, but Chinese deep fried moneybags. The tempura, California rolls, small salad and miso were mediocre. Good price, but you get what you paid for.
Would I ever return? I don’t think so.
