We went to try out a new place on Friday evening to Ajisai. It’s located in Kerrisdale, 2081 W 42nd Ave Vancouver. It’s a small place, probably seats about 20 people. We got there around 7:30pm and there was a line up. W were told there was about a 15 minute wait, so we left our name and went for a walk.

We came back and were seated by the counter by the window. The place is clean and modern. The waitresses were all very friendly.

I ordered the Spicy Combo for $10 (24 pieces). I was really surprised at the portion for the price! Not only that, but it tasted really fresh and delicious! Unlike other places these rolls had Kaiware sprouts (sprouts from daikon radish seeds) them that gave them a slight bitter but in a good way taste. I loved it

We also ordered the Assorted Sushi for $15. The food came fairly quick for being really busy, the waitresses kept offering more tea, so overall it was a very pleasant visit and very satisfied with everything. With nothing to complain about, I give it a10 out of 10.
