Decent sized Japanese sushi restaurant with friendly Japanese staff. The green tea was good – which usually indicates a good Japanese restaurant. It was busy on a Saturday around 9pm and the seating is a bit crammed.
One of the server recommended that their special, Aburi Battera $8.50 was really good, so we ordered one to share. The rice was moist and super sticky. I think the rice was way too dense, and the portion of the rice was too big which made the flavour of the mackerel disappear or seem weaker. It wasn’t as refreshing as the one at Miku. (from left to right) Spicy Tuna Roll $4.50 was average. Crunchy Roll was Sheepie’s order so I didn’t have one. Negitoro roll $4.50 was very good.
Yakitori $3.50 (2 skewers) had a really good sauce, and the meat was super soft. Thumbs up.
Overall, it was a pretty decent dinner and fair prices.
