I happened to walk by the place and noticed their sandwich board (yes, they do work! lol). I ordered the butter chicken curry with rice $4.75. I was a bit concerned about how dimly lit the place was, and how it looked like the food had been sitting there for sometime, but there was a family before me, and then a lady came in after me. I thought that with constant customers like that, it should be ok. The only guy working there was friendly.

Unfortunately, my gut feeling was correct. The curry was too sweet for some reason. It didn’t taste all that authentic either. Even worse than those curry places in the malls. I’d have to say it’s the worst Indian curry I ever had. Even though it’s the cheapest curry I’ve seen, it doesn’t mean you’ll get good food! There are too many better options for Indian curry in Vancouver. I wont be returning ever again.
