Quiznos at Brentwood

If you’re trying to find something a little healthier, Quiznos has a half salad $3.49. They have 3 different choices for their Fresh Market Salads; Caesar Chicken, Honey Mustard Chicken and Mediterranean Chicken.

I got the Honey Mustard with Chicken, Bacon (ok, not so healthy ), Cheddar, Tomato, Red Onion, Honey Mustard Dressing. It’s nice that they put the dressing into another small container separate from the salad so that you can put on as much, or in my case, as little as possible. Though the dressing was surprisingly good. The salad isn’t spectacular or anything, but for the price and portion, I think it’s ok for a fast food chain.

I’ve also tried their wrap which is stuffed with mostly lettuce. Nothing fancy. But good if you need a quick bite on the go.

IHOP at Brentwood Mall

To try something different from the food court at the mall, my coworker and I went to IHOP inside the mall. It was only half full during rush lunch hour.

The food is filling, but it’s not as appetizing as it looks on their website.

Reality…

The crepes were soggy from drowning in sauce, the food wasn’t real cooking, in terms of complexity. It’s expensive for ordering simple poached eggs, bacon and hashbrowns. Nothing is done to it.I have read that it’s this location that is bad, so perhaps I need to try elsewhere where it has higher ratings.

Vina at Metrotown Mall

I ordered the Beef Pho $7.25. It wasn’t tasty although the look was deceiving. Beef was hard to eat. What can I say, eating at a busy mall food court where it’s dirty isn’t all that pleasant. Doesn’t make the food taste good either.
